Interestingly presented in an unforgettable way. Sure I’ve heard the first and last parts but never knew they were a whole, or who wrote them.

It was my desire to find out who wrote such ringing phrases that drove me to find their author, and to read the entire book. The work is John Donne’s simultaneous meditation and chronicle about a serious illness that nearly claimed his life. This Meditation from the Devotions has resonated with me since I first read it, and inspired me to find a visual expression of my feelings about it.

Thanks for your kind comment!

I like this one. Although I’ve decided today that I am indeed an Island, and all the bells shall toll for me! 🙂
