on the face of it, this comment would contradict to what was grasped by me from your eloquent post, nevertheless, I wish to share my first impression. II was wow! My all texts looks alike in the beginning because of my writing with the dictionary in hand – my censor is my illiteracy. Only understanding oneself as God’s child enable me to not put down my pen but move forward and uncover the hidden words.
On the other hand, I’m glad for my illiteracy because my not knowing how to say in English what I feel inside forces me to open the dictionary each time I open my mouse. That’s great experience – the school of metaphors… we need not musings but action that reflects our musing.
Best wishes from Tomas Karkalas

Thank you very much for your comment, Tomas; it is far more eloquent than you imagine.

Yes, our lack of knowledge or words to express ourselves can sometimes be a censor, but ultimately it fails to stop us from showing our innermost feelings. Somehow, these always surface as you say, with the help of God, who guides us toward the appropriate way to tell of our emotions and convictions.

Sending you best wishes as well for a happy holiday season & New Year…… Eric

Oh dear me. You had a Redaction Reaction! (BTW, I also despise SOPA and its House counterpart.)

Happy WW! (if the MPAA/RIAA have their way, that may be the only kind of Wednesday we can enjoy!)

Hahaha! VERY witty! A “Redaction Reaction” forsooth! Sad to say, you’re right about WW being the only Wednesday the “content industry” will leave to us. Thanks for all you’re doing to help keep the Net censorship-free! And thanks also for visiting and linking up. Happy WW to you as well!

Happy WW!

Happy WW to you as well! Thanks for stopping by to link up and leave a comment. Please remember to take a moment to call your legislators in Washington, and tell them you oppose SOPA, PIPA, and Internet censorship! And please ask your friends to do the same….Thanks for doing your part to keep the Internet free and uncensored.

Interesting.

Eric Edelman December 13, 2011, 10:15 pm

Yes, but unfortunately not just interesting; potentially threatening all Americans’ access to the Internet. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Please remember and take a moment to tell your legislators that you oppose SOPA, PIPA, and Internet censorship! And please ask your friends to speak up.

Another thoughtful post – thanks for speaking out against censorship!

Eric Edelman December 14, 2011, 5:05 am

Thanks for your visit and your kind comment, Erika! We all need to speak out against censorship in our respective countries, and it’s good to know that so many of us are on the same “page” about it….

Well done Eric. I was going to write that I am glad to live in a country that actually has free speech – but then I remembered the five police cars that pulled up to a house on the next block . . .

Eric Edelman December 14, 2011, 11:18 am

Thanks for your visit and comment, Rhonda. Wherever we live, it’s important for all of us to speak out against censorship.

Thanks! I had a great WW, and I hope you did too; my apologies for the late posting and answering of your comment, but software problems kept me from seeing your post until today.

I really think it’s great that you censor your article I also did it with 2 articles and I heard that more and more people are going to do it. Thanks for a great article again!

Eric Edelman December 16, 2011, 6:17 pm

Thanks for your visit and your comment, Linda! I wish you were an American citizen and could join us in signing petitions and phoning legislators on this campaign, but I’m glad that you are keeping others in the Netherlands aware of censorship. Keep up the good work!
