Hmmm…Pandora’s box of tornados
Exactly…and also other, man-made storms. Thanks very much for your visit and your comment.
Fortunately, Sydney doesn’t get tornados, but we do get some wicked thunder storms…
Mines up as well at AussiePomm – Sydney Olympic
Cauldron Alight (again)
Have a great WW!!
That’s good. NYC just got a flock of miniature twisters, which did some damage. But we do get some wicked fierce thunderstorms–at almost any season of the year! Thanks for your visit and your comment. I’ve visited your site as well and left a comment.
Close the box, the tornadoes are escaping. Thanks for hosting.
Yup, they are…but it’s too late now. Thanks for your visit and your comment.
Cool picture for today!
Thanks, Danielle!
I absolutely love this one! Very cool, and the colors are beautiful.
Thanks very much, Christy Ann! I’m very happy that you like it.
It looks like a tornado music box.
Well-put, Alissa! If it appears that way to you, then I’m happy I was able to convey that, which was my intention. Thanks for your visit and your thoughtful comment.
Very cool. Love the box.
Thank you very much, Robin!
Very creative !
Thanks very much!
Brilliant, I just love the colour
Thanks very much, Steve
Have a great WW!
this is fascinating, the colors are ‘stormy’ .. so intense
Thanks, Daryl! That’s what I was trying for: that intense, dark, “black ink dumped in milk” look that one sometimes sees during storms. I’m happy to hear that it came across to you! Thanks again for your comment.
We do not have tornadoes here but we have storms and hurricanes sometimes. This collage is very beautiful. Thanks for hosting. Happy WW!
Thanks for your visit and your comment, Judy; have a great WW!
I’d love to keep storms in a box!! You could control all kinds of things that way lol.
Whew finally I’m linking up with no problems at all. YAY!
Happy WW!

There is just something so exciting about opening a jewelry box! Although I’d rather not have a tornado pop out of mine!
Yes, Tracy, jewelry boxes are exciting and intriguing. Joseph Cornell once crafted a piece of found-object sculpture he called Taglioni’s Jewel Casket, which retold a legendary incident in the life of Marie Taglioni, a famous nineteenth-century ballerina. Her carriage was once stopped by a highwayman as it crossed Russia in midwinter. Taglioni was commanded by the bandit to dance for him under the stars, upon a panther skin spread across the snow and ice. You can read about this jewelry-box sculpture by going to:
