      You’re right, Aquariann: he would look like a young Willy Wonka if he had a hat. But he’s actually Rufus Choate (1799-1859), lawyer and legislator from Massachusetts. And you’re also correct that the quote is from Marcel Duchamp, speaking of one of the elements in his composition The Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors, Even (The Large Glass).
