Please tell me he’s not grinding himself?! When I see a photo of this style I must analyze it, and usually my conclusion is incorrect lol.

Eric Edelman March 7, 2012, 2:33 pm

Nope, he’s not grinding himself at all…but what he is doing is probably a subject for a private message! 😉

aquariann March 7, 2012, 12:13 pm

“Come with meee and you’ll beee … in a world of pure imagination!!” Is that Marcel Duchamp? Put a hat on him and he would look like a young Willy Wonka. 😀

Eric Edelman March 7, 2012, 2:24 pm

You’re right, Aquariann: he would look like a young Willy Wonka if he had a hat. But he’s actually Rufus Choate (1799-1859), lawyer and legislator from Massachusetts. And you’re also correct that the quote is from Marcel Duchamp, speaking of one of the elements in his composition The Bride Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors, Even (The Large Glass). Thanks for stopping by and leaving your thoughtful comment!
