Equilibrium: 2: a state of balance between opposing forces or actions that is either static…or dynamic… –Merriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (Eleventh Edition)
How does equilibrium apply to you? Is your state of equilibrium purely mental, emotional, spiritual, or physical? Or do all of them interact? Do you find an state of equilibrium unattainable? Or–as physics sometimes puts it–do you find your state to be far from equilibrium?

And then, if you find yourself in a state of equilibrium, is it static or dynamic? Will it continue with no effort on your part, or must you act to maintain it? And if you lose it, will you seek to recover it?

Have a great WW!!
Thanks very much for your visit and your comment!
my baby starts school tomorrow…no equilibrium for me this week!
Know that feeling vicariously, Jessica. I hope your equilibrium returns soon! And thanks very much for your comment.
Another great image and thought proving post, Eric! All I can say is my equilibrium has been non existent for as long as I can remember – sometimes up, sometimes down, but never level – life is just a manic roller-coaster ride!
Thanks very much, Erika! Yes, again it seems to me that I’m familiar with that state, too (though I’m thankful that there have been some pauses to come to equilibrium too…). But life does have a way of being what happens when one’s made other plans…
i am always in motion .. so i would say yes .. keep going to keep going .. love your collages ..
Equilibrium on the fly, eh, Daryl? Seems I’m familiar with that. Thanks very much for your kind comment!
What a great question. So very out of whack & a real struggle to find balance.
Yes, it is, oftentimes. Here’s hoping that in future it will be less of a struggle for all of us to find balance. Thanks so much for your comment, Jeanna.
Very good it’s sort of light-hearted too
Have a good rest of week
Thanks, Steve! (I’m glad it’s not light-headed as well
) Thanks for your comment, and have a great WW & week.
My boys would love the train!
I don’t blame them; I love it too! Thanks for your comment, Alissa.
Exquisite balance, creative composition.
Thanks very much, Leovi!
This gives serious food for thought. I love the message. Equilibrium is very important but it is not always easy to achieve. Good for the health though! Thanks for hosting.
No, Judy, it’s certainly not always easy to attain equilibrium. But it is worth the effort. Thanks very much for your comment and your visit.

Thank you for your visit and comment! I liked your feature on snakes very much.
Isn’t it just inertia keeping us all moving forward?
It’s inertia (in part) that keeps us moving forward, but it’s dynamic equilibrium that keeps us on our feet, more or less. Thanks for your visit and thought-provoking comment, Tracy!
