Collage’s Floral Dance

Twould ease – a Butterfly
Elate – a Bee –
Thou’rt neither –
Neither – thy capacity -

But, Blossom, were I,
I would rather be
Thy moment
Than a Bee’s Eternity -

Content of fading
Is enough for me –
Fade I unto Divinity -

And Dying – Lifetime
Ample as the Eye –
Her least attention raise on me -

Emily Dickinson

As spring unlocks the , the dance of flowers begins: colorfully riotous, aromatically loud, ceaselessly changing, moving, blossoming, scattering, withering, and dying—and rising anew.

That’s a cool quote! I love how the really bright colors are in the foreground. It certainly gives the piece depth.

It’s strange that you should say that, because I was thinking the very same thing as I was participating in the collage, ;-) Thanks very much for your visit and your kind comment!
