    Thanks very much for your kind words! (One irony: the blue fish is the only one not drawn from a living subject; it was sketched from a small, stylized figurine, and engraved after the artist’s drawing.)

  I love the expressions on both faces. The idea of a mother’s love being a quiet, peaceful shelter amongst the colorful (threatening) sea creatures is reflected perfectly. Well done!
