Rice, the most versatile and popular grain. The influence of rice on humankind reaches far back in time. Rice has been grown in Asia for the last 5,000 years. 2004 was the International Year of Rice. ( Digital collage & description created & copyright © by Ziva. All rights reserved.)This is one of a series celebrating and reinterpreting the glories of botanical subjects as portrayed in classic wood engravings.
This beautiful floral is printed on a premium glossy canvas and then stretched on a wooden frame of 1.5″ x 1.5″ stretcher bars. All stretched canvases ship within one business day and arrive “ready to hang” with pre-attached hanging wire, mounting hooks, and nails.

Mom Caboodle, thanks for the visit!
Your prints always please the eyes and are very informative. Thank you.
By the way, the picture looks so symbolically – in case we recognize the human figure in green rise where the butterfly notes the head.
The butterfly and the weary figure – bright colors and 5,000 years… Thank you for the help to shift away from the dark thoughts about the personal helplesness to continue being the artist…
