What a proud family heritage. It’s so wonderful that you have so many photos and that you’re doing something with them; they’re not just sitting in a box or gathering dust on your wall. Beautiful!

Eric Edelman May 30, 2012, 10:03 am

Thanks very much for your generous comment! I’m glad you enjoyed the photographs. (Full disclosure: they are sitting in a box, but well-protected against environmental damage.)

Megan Broutian May 30, 2012, 10:56 pm

I love it! I also love the presentation. Did you use a collage widget or manually compiled the photos?

Eric Edelman May 30, 2012, 11:52 pm

Thanks for your kind comment, Megan! I didn’t use a collage “widget” to do the collage; instead, I compiled the photos of military personnel I’d scanned into my computer, cleaned them up with photo-processing software, reduced their file size/resolution, and created an album of them on the Facebook RetroCollage page (http://www.facebook.com/RetroCollage). I clicked and dragged the pictures in the Facebook album to rearrange their order. Then, I inserted a link to the Facebook album page in this blog-post.

Megan Broutian May 31, 2012, 12:02 am

Wow that is very clever. And this way, you have the collage in both places. Very clever indeed.
Thanks for your thorough answer 🙂

Eric Edelman May 31, 2012, 10:37 am

You’re very welcome!
